STEP 01

Cleaning floor side

Eliminate foreign substances first such as dust, oil stain, moisture, and so on and clean the floor side so that the adhesive is well attached.
Well-dried Oregon pine (30㎜×30㎜) is used for floor work with the interval @450×450.

STEP 02

Installation of plaster board (veneer)

Make the floor side flat with attachment of one layer upon fixing plaster board on the Oregon pine by tacker pin.
When cutting plaster board, use the cutter knife or electric bone saw with clear cutting of the edge and attach the connection part flat without gap.
Make the angle of the wall edge accurately not to hinder the installation of the angle in the drawing when Kera-ton is attached later.

STEP 03

Cleaning floor side of plaster board

Eliminate foreign substances and clean the floor side so that the adhesive is well attached.

STEP 04

Fixing Kera-ton

Apply the adhesive on the back of panel with the interval of @150×150 evenly, and then fix Kera-ton with tacker after making horizontal and vertical inked line accurately.
In case of cutting panel during the installation, use electric bone saw grinder, etc.

STEP 05

Completion of installation

For Kera-ton, safety glasses and fireproof mask should be worn to protect eyes and respiratory organ from the dusts generated when cutting by saw.
In case of using adhesive, installation should be halted when the indoor temperature is less than 5℃ since it is a cause of adhesion defect at the low temperature. In case of continuing the installation, indoor standard temperature should be maintained 15~25℃ until the adhesive is hardened completely.
Kera-ton should be loaded on the flat face such as pallet upon making floor flat over 20 cm from the floor, stored upon packaging with vinyl not to be exposed to the moisture, and be cautiously handled not to be damaged on the surface or the edge during the transportation.
Kera-ton is a breathing material.
Therefore, the interval between the products should be maintained over 3 mm during the installation and attachment.
