Fireproof test KS F 2268-1 Flame interruption performance (including gasket)
  • a) No ignition with application of cotton pad.
  • b) No movement over 150 mm length upon penetrating 6 mm cracking gauge to the test subject.
  • c) No penetration of 25mm cracking gauge to the test subject.
  • d) No fire occurrence over 10 seconds at the non-heated side during the test.
Thermal test KS F 2268-1 Thermal performance
  • Mean temperature : should not be increased by 140K from initial temperature.
  • b) Max temperature
    • Main body: should not be increased by 180K from initial temperature.
    • Frame: should not be increased by 360K from initial temperature.
Smokeproof test KS F 2846
  • Measure air leakage to make the pressure with 25Pa, 50Pa, and 75Pa between both sides of the door but should not exceed 0.9m3/min∙m2 at 25P.
Insulation test KS F 2278 Heat flowing rate
  • Insulation capacity is more excellent as the values of heat flowing rate are lower.
  • Standard of heat flowing rate on the fireproof doors in apartments: Not more than 1.400 W/m2∙K
Sealing test KS F 2292
  • Measure air leakage to make the pressure with 10Pa, 30Pa, 50Pa, and 100Pa, and should meet not more than the standard ventilation amount at each pressure.
  • Ex) Class 1 at 100Pa: Not more than 10 m3/h∙m2
Condensation test KS F 2295
  • Measure TDR values which are the indexes of condensation capacity on main body and frame of the door
  • Based on Region 1 (-20℃)
    • Main body : 0.30
    • Frame : 0.22
